Heritage Walk of Old Galway- Thursday August 24th


Want to learn more about the history of Galway, a city that is 800 years old?
Want to find out the stories and myths attached to its ancient churches, castles, mercantile houses, mills and waterways?
Want to learn about its former glory days, cruel rulers, smuggling rackets, great heroic deeds and bloody repression?

An information walking tour of Galway for Eglinton residents will take place next Thursday led by Mr. Jim Higgins Galway City Heritage Officer.
The tour will start at 11am sharp outside the front door of City Hall (Galway City Council) on College Road.
