A Happy Eglinton residents' support committee & friends plus Galway Mayor- Christmas 2006!

The residents' support committee is appealing to all residents of the Eglinton Hotel to attend a meeting at 7pm in the lounge (in front of the computer room) on Monday next (April 16).
The committee will present a brief overview of the last year's programme of activities and outline plans for the year ahead.
However, there is a need for a greater involvement of residents in the committee's membership and in organisation and planning of events. Each of us has something to contribute to the Eglinton community; it may be an expertise in sport or a craft, it may be just a willingness to put up posters. But there is something for you no matter how small- no-one will be turned away!! Sadly, too many people are presently relying on the dedicated few to get things done. Yet unless there is increased involvement by individuals, some of the family activities planned for the summer may not happen. Likewise if you feel strong on this issue, come along and make your views known.
