The report identifies four key areas:
- Difficulties with General Practice services as experienced by asylum seekers
- Concern over the mental health of asylum seekers due to issues arising from experiences in their home countries compounded by experiences here of direct provision accommodation and the prohibition on the right to work.
- Language barriers for people from ethnic minority communities who have limited English.
- The need to adopt Participatory approaches in the provision of health services.
