Computer Room Re-Opens

The computer room re-opened last week. Student volunteers from Galway University will now supervise the facility on Fridays and shortly on Tuesdays. It is also hoped that by next month, extra volunteers will come onstream to allow this much-needed communications and learning room to stay open up to 5 days per week.

Friday's 5.30pm 2 hr slot is specifically for teenage residents
Due to the Chickenpox outbreak in the Eglinton, the Wordprocessing classes scheduled for Wednesday Feb 14th is re-scheduled to the following week when Brendan Smith of the university's DERI institute will act as tutor.
